  1. Here’s my top 10 list. To make things simple I’ll only include 1 game per franchise.

    10. Mutant League Hockey
    9. Mortal Kombat 1
    8. Road Rash
    7. ToeJam and Earl
    6. Shining Force 2
    5. Castlevania Bloodlines
    4. Streets of Rage 2
    3. Zombies Ate My Neighbors
    2. Sonic 3 and Knuckles
    1. Phantasy Star IV

  2. Ok here goes. I was a SNES player way back when. Superior console to the Genesis in both graphics and sound… blah blah…

Now, I got myself a Sega Genesis Mini (now sitting proudly side-by-side with my SNES Mini), and I’m ready to delve into that vast catalog of Sega games that I missed out on. So, Sega community, die-hard fans etc, please list your fave genesis games of all time. Any genre.

  3. Golden axe is NOT a launch title!! It came out in 1990 and the mega drive was released in 1988 in Japan!! The first two titles were super thunder blade and space harrier 2, closly followed by altered beast. You should not make a video like this if you dont know what you are talking about.

  4. God even in retrospect the Genesis was just like the Atari. To compete with Nintendo they had a big unkept library of crap games and it basically boiled down to Mario and Sonic, just like Atari, Sega died by the sword.

  5. As a diehard SNES fan I can truly say that the only game that the SEGA had that I wish was on SNES was "Mutant League Hockey".

  6. Man this is a poor list. how the hell were shining force 2 and phantasy star iv merely honorable mentions yet that trash vectorman was on there???
